Melitopol: Invincible Cities (January 2023)

“Melitopol: Invincible Cities” documents the experience of civilian resistance and community resilience in the occupied city of Melitopol following Russia’s full-scale invasion. Produced by AMES, the documentary explores how local residents, activists, and community leaders organised acts of nonviolent resistance, mutual support, and civic mobilisation despite increasing repression. Through personal testimonies and local experiences, it highlights the role of collective action in preserving social cohesion and challenging occupation authorities.
