Svatove: Invincible Cities (November 2022)

“Svatove: Invincible Cities” documents the experience of civilian resistance and community resilience in the occupied city of Svatove, Luhansk region, following Russia’s full-scale invasion. Produced by AMES, the documentary highlights how local residents adapted to occupation, preserved social cohesion, and sustained forms of civic agency despite repression and displacement. Through personal testimonies and local experiences, it illustrates the role of communities in resisting occupation and defending their identity under wartime conditions.
